“TERRA!”
He turned, watching the boy run toward him. Terra leveled an even look on him, before smiling softly, “I let my anger get the best of me. Ven, I’m sorry,” he spoke, reaching out and ruffling the boy’s hair, as he hunched over to catch his breath.
Ventus straightened his back and grabbed Terra’s hand before latching onto him, his arms slipping around the taller male’s neck, pulling him down to meet him.
The brush of lips was awkward, but warm and inviting, drawing Terra into Ventus as their mouths mingled. Time slowed, senses honing in on just the two of them, and in that moment, Terra didn’t want to leave.
Pulling away, Ventus stared up at him, “Sorry,” he apologized, the smile on his lips showed he was lying.
Terra tugged Ventus into his embrace, hugging him tightly. Queitly, he whispered in his ear, “I’m proud of you Ven.”
Ventus whimpered softly, not wanting to let Terra go, but did so as the taller male straightened his back, ruffling his hair in the process. He blushed and stared up at him, as Terra pressed the button on his shoulder, activating his armor, “Keep safe.”
“You too,” he mumbled.
