“I thought you were an assassin?” Lady Hawke raised a brow, her sword aimed at Zevran’s throat.
Isabella grunted, “He use to be, Hawke.”
She stared at her companion before looking back to the elf, who only stared at them with a mask of relish over Hawke’s confusion, “And that means?” she stressed her words, her disbelief evident.
Isabella shrugged, “We’ll have to ask the Hero of Ferelden next time she’s in the Free Marches.”
“What kind of assassin… stops being an asassin?” Hawke mused, lowering her sword as she leveled her gaze on the elf.
“A good one,” Zevran smirked, offering an extravagant bow, before righting himself elegantly.
Lady Hawke gave a laughing snort before she shook her head at him, “I guess I can’t argue with that one.”
“I don’t fair well in arguments,” Zevran smiled handsomely, his golden eyes showing off his amusement.
