The light cascaded in through the curtains, rousing Aoba from his sleep as the brightness fell over his face. Clear held in his chuckle as he brushed Aoba’s blue mane of hair from his face, watching happily as Aoba cracked an eye to look at him, lifting his hand to shield his sight from the morning light.

“Morning, Aoba-san,” Clear chimed.

Aoba snorted, “Mornin’.”

Clear’s eyes crinkled with his smile, Aoba’s gaze dropping to the two tiny moles that decorated his chin, one of his favorite features of the robot, that and his beautiful eye color.

Mauve gaze met his and Aoba yawned, rolling onto his back to stretch, “What shall we do today, Aoba-san?”

Aoba yawned again, scratching his bare belly as he slowly blinked his sleepiness away. Finally, he returned Clear’s cheerful smile with one of his own, albeit a still bit sleepy, “We can do whatever it is you want to do, Clear.”

Clear sat up, crossing his legs underneath him, Indian-style, causing Aoba to raise a brow at him. “OH! We can do many things! I’ve yet to show you my favorite rooftop, or even my favorite path I walk when I go to see Aoba-san at work.”

Aoba chuckled, covering his eyes with his arm as he stretched out, “Absolutely, we can do it all.”

“REALLY?” Clear leaned over him, excitement brimming over the top.

Aoba smiled, reaching up to touch the robot’s cheek, brushing his thumb tenderly over the tiny moles that marked Clear as Clear, “Yes, really.”

“This is wonderful, Aoba-san!”

“Don’t yell, I’m right here.”

“Aoba-san!”

“Shh, you’ll wake Granny!”

“Let’s go now!”

“WE NEED TO GET DRESSED FIRST!” Aoba growled, “Clear, get back here!”
