November 11 pulled another long drag from his cigarette, hardly coughing this time, as the smoke filled his lungs, before he exhaled harshly. He ran a hand through his damp blond hair, feeling the not too pleasant grit that stuck to the tendrils.
“Why are you helping me?” Hei narrowed his eyes, watching the other contractor close as he reloaded the clip of his gun. Seven bullets wasn’t going to get him anywhere. With a precise flick of his wrist, he slid the clip home.
“I’m not helping you per se, just keeping you alive a little longer than intended,” November 11 snuffed out the cigarette in the muddy soil, licking at the blood that dribbled from the corner of his lip.
Hei snorted, shifting through the foliage, not waiting on November 11 to follow him. The blonde knew BK201 may not want him here and it was fine if he never admitted to it. With a roll of his eyes, November 11 followed the Black Reaper.
