Wiping the sweat from his forehead, Ventus laid back on the ground, staring up into the sky that was streaked in deep hues of purple and red, the dying rays of the sun only adding to the beauty above him.
“You did a good job today, Ven,” Terra said, taking a seat next to him on the grass, “Here, for you.”
He sat up on his elbows, eyes catching the delicious treat Terra was offering him, “Sea-salt ice cream?!” Ventus grinned, taking the stick as he eagerly nibbled on the corner of the cold delight. “Thanks Terra!”
The brunette laughed, “It’s not really healthy to eat ice cream right after training, but I figured you’d earned it today.” Terra smiled, taking a deep swig from his water bottle, watching Ventus excitedly devour his ice cream, which only made him ruffle Ven’s hair.
