The Ambassador scratches her feather pen across the letter she was finishing as Cullen pushes open the doors, “What would you say is the Inquisitor's best asset?” Josephine asks Cullen as they enter the War Room, her curiousness catching Leliana's attention.
“Yes, Commander,” the Spymaster's eyes twinkle as she crosses her arms, following the two of them into the room, “I would be most interested to hear this as well.”
“Umm... ah...” Cullen clears his throat into his fist, feeling the tell-tale signs of his embarrassment heating the tips of his ears. “W-why would you ask, Lady Montilyet?”
Josephine and Leliana share a look that has Josephine chuckling softly, “Well, Commander, for... shall we say, pertinent reasons.” She sets her paperwork aside, slipping her feather pen into the ink well, turning her full attention to the templar.
Cullen rubs at the back of his neck with his hand, licking his suddenly dry lips, “She has a certain charm... about her...”
“Of course,” Leliana gives Josephine a wink.
The Commander clears his throat again, tapping his knuckles on the table, his anxiety ever rising as his ire to the not so subtle cornering the other advisors, “Didn't we have something important to discuss? The Freeman in the Dales causing anymore ruckus between the Orlesian forces, perhaps?” His voice was suddenly pointed as he spoke, his eyes adverted.
“Are you always so... passionate when you're alone with Lady Evelyn on the battlements?” Leliana smirks at him, tapping her chin with her finger.
His cheeks light up like fire. “Maker's Breath...” Cullen glowers, “This isn't something we need to engage in at the moment. We have business at hand.”
“You should just accept this sense of fatality you feel, Commander,” Josephine says, her Antivan accent more predominant with her giddiness.
Leliana leans over to him, patting him on the shoulder, “This is not a battle you can win.”
“Maker's Breath,” Cullen sighs.
