Summary: Solas can not stand tea.
Disclaimer: I do not own Dragon Age nor the characters, just borrowing them from BioWare for a little while.
Prompt:
lastfanstanding : #366 - Tea
--
One of the servants set the sterling serving tray on the side table, gingerly tipping the boiling water into the cup over the tea leaves to let them stew. She settled everything neatly, before bowing out of Solas' chambers.
The elf turned a page in one of the books he had had acquired from a Nevarran traveler that had come to Skyhold not even a fortnight ago. It was an interesting read, but highly inaccurate on the prospect of how magic actually worked for a mage. To Solas, it was more human Chantry propaganda that was garbage to the mind.
He reached for the tea cup, bringing the cup to his lips as he blew on it, before taking a tiny sip. Solas shuttered at the taste that still did not appease his sensitive pallet. With more than simple reluctance, Solas returned the cup to its saucer on the serving tray, where he knew it would sit until later when another servant came to retrieve it.
No matter how hard he tried, tea did not suit him at all.
