Kagome slipped behind the wheel of the driver's seat, dropping the brown paper bag into her passenger seat as she unfolded the Sunday morning paper. She took a quick bite of her open candy bar as she opened the paper, scanning the headlines, tossing the sales papers onto her passenger floorboard as she flipped through to the classified ads.

“For rent,” she ran her finger along the paper, quickly scanning for something that caught her interest, “Hmm, here we go... 'For rent: one bed, one bath, apartment complex, pet friendly, great location outside city limits, apartment by the sea.' ”
